30th Mark Twain born 1835

Samuel Langhorne Clemens was Mark Twain’s real name, and the celebrated author of several novels, including two major classics of American literature: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. He was also a riverboat pilot, journalist, lecturer, entrepreneur and inventor


His early years Mark Twain was born in the tiny village of Florida, Missouri, on November 30, 1835, the sixth child of John and Jane Clemens.

At 4 years old, his family moved to nearby Hannibal, a bustling river town of 1,000 people.  M. Twain, stayed in Hannibal until age 17. The town, situated on the Mississippi River, inspired several of M. Twain's fictional locales, including "St. Petersburg" in Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

November: Thanksgiving, Thankful, and Grateful

This year many look around the world and community and wonder.

·        WHAT is there to be thankful. I lost two loved ones, a neighbor, not to mention those who lost family and friends his year.

·        Who will sit at the dinner table?

·        Will there be a dinner table setting?

 

 





Yet, there is something to be grateful.

HERE’S BUDDEE’S LIST

 

1. Buddee’s 2020 book debut ‘Buddee and Friends Holiday Adventure’ in two languages:

Spanish and English

2. To still have shelter despite high-level rent.

But to take a moment of silence for those lives lost because of Trauma [illness, injury], Natural disaster, [Hurricane], Firearm, and the Pandemic.

3. To help a fellow neighbor if only a telephone call or brief conversation.

4. to delight in another delightful Thanksgiving Holiday movie and watch the virtual The Thanksgiving Day Parade!
