Do you recall the good ol’ days when your mom used to pack you lunch in elementary school? You’d trade kids for the best snacks at lunchtime and eat three bites of your healthy food before throwing the rest away (we’re not judging). Pack a PB&J sandwich for yourself and mum.



National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day

On this day ‘National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day encourages us to prepare for the upcoming holidays. With the Pandemic please proceed with caution and follow state regulations. But get together a soap and hot water filled bucket, disinfectant, a sponge and a garbage bag.

National Raisin Bran Cereal Day

Raisins are sweet, dried grapes, that became popular after a heat wave dried up a large portion of the grape harvest in California in September of 1873. A San Francisco grocer started selling them and marketing them as "Peruvian Delicacies." California is still important to raisins, as it produces more of them than any other place in the world. Raisin bran is often seen as being healthy because it is high in fiber, but it also may have a decent amount of added sugar which can make it unhealthy.
