Arturo who tries to save his family's restaurant from a developer. It's also
about his love for poetry and his abuela (grandmother).

loves animals and wants to become a writer. She starts a blog about the animals
at the local animal shelter.

Dream Weaver" by Reina Luz Alegre. This book is about a girl named Zoey
who learns how to weave dreams from her grandmother. She tries to use this
power to help her father who is in a coma.

by Junot Diaz. This book is about a girl named Lola who tries to remember the
island where she was born. She interviews her family members and learns about
their experiences on the island.

Only Road" by Alexandra Diaz. This book is about two siblings who flee
Guatemala to escape the violence there. They must travel to the United States
and face many dangers along the way.
