Today is
My Pal Buddee, a
children’s picture book for grade levels 1 -3, and ages 6- 8 [upward to 6-10
year –olds]. Buddee is a six year boy, who’s keenly interested in outdoor games
and activities, whereas, Kyle is interested in playing indoors and board games.
Both of them have two different characters, one who loves a variety of games
played indoors and the other is an athletic-type, running and jumping outdoors.
Two friends with opposite interests will always have a good time by mutual learning of innovative ideas from each other to play.
Join Buddee and Kyle in this unique picture book as they learn differences, sharing and friendship.
Getting a pet is a delight to all kids, but it comes
with a lot of responsibility. This book will help children to build word
skills, learn to read and learn about having a pet puppy, from a 7-year-old
perspective.
The book is a good fit for a bedtime story or afternoon
reading; it will keep your child excited about learning life’s lessons, an
engaging story that’s fun and easy to read!
BONUS: ‘Grandpa’s Garden’ another story that builds word
skills.

On Sunday September 8, 2019 is
‘Grandparents
Day!’
Grandparents Day a national holiday NOT classified as a federal holiday, is celebrated each year on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Purpose of Grandparents Day:
It’s a day for celebrating the connections between the generations.
The roots of Grandparents Day go back to 1956 and a West
Virginia mother named Marian McQuade. She wanted a holiday to bring attention
to these forgotten individuals and to honor all grandparents.
So in 1973, West Virginia became the first state to have
such a day.
