Valentine's Day, February 14th
Activities for kids
Valentine's Day is another
great opportunity for kids to have fun, express their creativity, and show love
to their friends and family. Here are some Valentine's Day things to do with
kids:
1. Make homemade
Valentine's Day cards: Encourage kids to make their own Valentine's Day cards
using craft materials like construction paper, markers, glitter, and stickers.
2. Decorate cookies: Bake
some cookies together and decorate them with frosting and sprinkles in the
shape of hearts.
3. Have a picnic: (if the
weather is warm) Pack a basket with sandwiches, fruit, and other treats and
have a picnic in the living room or backyard.
4. Play a Valentine's Day
game: Play a game of "Pin the Heart on the Cupid" or
"Valentine's Day Bingo."
5. Make a heart-shaped
bird feeder: Fill a heart-shaped cookie cutter with birdseed and hang it
outside for the birds to enjoy.
6. Have a movie night:
Watch a romantic comedy or a heartwarming family movie together.
7. Have a dance party: Put
on some music and dance the night away.
8. Create a photo booth:
Set up a photo booth with props and take fun pictures together.
9. Have a craft day: Make
paper flowers, heart-shaped wreaths, or other Valentine's Day decorations
together.
Remember, the most
important thing is to spend quality time together and show love and
appreciation for each other. Have fun!
