Buddee and friends Holiday Adventure Book 3

A Children’s Mystery   Adventure

Chapter One

BUDDEE AND his FRIENDS Ajay, Paige, and Sofia are adventurous.

One day at school, they were sitting in the cafeteria and overheard some boys talking about a cruise ship.

One, Aaron, was recounting a recent and amazing time on a cruise ship that he had enjoyed it a lot. Buddee and Ajay moved closer to hear more of Aaron’s story.

“The cruise ship is huge with lots of things to do. I had a crazy fun time,” Aaron said.

“Every year, when my uncle takes us on vacation over the December break, the owner of the ship puts on a spectacular show. As a bonus – each year there is a treasure hunt, a secret box with a letter is hidden somewhere on the ship starting on day one. The kids are the ones who try to find the box.”

Aaron paused for a second.

“Oh! One last thing. The person who finds the secret box and letter wins. The letter within the box gives you the secret to what the holidays in December are all about, and even Santa’s secrets. I’ve been on this gigantic cruise ship three times, and no one has ever found it.” Aaron looked at Buddee and his friends, who had clustered around his cafeteria table.

“Do you think you and your friends can find the secret box and letter? The ship is gigantic.” Aaron asked.

“I’ll go on that cruise ship, and I bet I can find the box!” For my friends and I – no problem.”

“Okay, big shot! Then, I challenge you, Buddee – you and your friends – to find the mystery box.  If you find it, I will give you my latest PlayStation game, not even used yet!  If you don’t, you will give me a game.”

“Challenge accepted.” Buddee stated.  The next step was to get his parents to agree to this adventure. With the pandemic, it would take some convincing.
