•  The mascot of The Walt Disney Company, and is one of the most recognizable characters.
• Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, in 1928 at the Walt Disney Studios.
• Originally created as a replacement for the character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Mickeys first appeared and in “Plane Crazy” and later debut in “Steamboat Willie.”
