The eight-day ‘FESTIVAL of LIGHTS’  that begins on the eve of the 12th of the Jewish month of Kislev 5779 – Kindling of the menorah is the focal point of the Chanukah holiday, celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods.
