My Pal Buddee question to his Fifth Grader Pals

& Fun – A Day in the Life of My Pet (or Dream Pet)
If I had my
dream pet, it would be a tiny dragon the size of a hamster. His name would be
Spark. Every morning, he wakes me up by sneezing out a teeny puff of smoke. He
sits on my shoulder during breakfast and steals exactly ONE Cheerio. After
school, we play “flame tag,” where he tries to tag me with warm sparks (not hot
enough to burn—just toasty). At night, he curls up on my pillow like a warm
squishy marshmallow. Best. Pet. Ever.

School & Learning – The Coolest Thing I Learned This Year & Tips for New 5th Graders.
The coolest
thing I learned this year is that electricity can actually jump through
the air like a tiny lightning bolt when you complete a circuit. That totally
blew my mind.
Tips I’d share with new 5th graders:
- Don’t wait until the last minute
for projects—you’ll regret it.
- Bring snacks. Trust me,
5th-grade hunger is real.
- Always be nice to the quiet kid.
They usually turn out to be super cool.
Reflection & Life – What I’m Proud of This Year
This year,
I’m proud that I didn’t quit when things got hard—especially in math. There
were days when I wanted to launch my textbook into outer space, but I kept
trying. And guess what? I actually got better. I’m also proud that I made a new
friend, even though I was scared to talk first.
World & Community – A Place I Want to Visit Someday
I really want to visit Japan someday. Everything there looks so cool—neon cities, ancient temples, amazing food, and vending machines that sell literally EVERYTHING. Plus, I want to see cherry blossoms for real instead of just on Google.
