  Happy Holidays Fun Facts The very first New Year’s celebrations happened in Babylon… around 4,000 years ago ! 🎉 In Spain, people eat 12 grapes at midnight for good luck—one for each month. 🕛 The Times Square ball weighs almost 12,000 pounds . 🌏 New Year arrives at different times worldwide—Kiribati rings it in first!   Activity: “My 2025 Kid Goals” A reflection + creativity challenge: 1.     Write 3 goals for the new year— fun, realistic, or smarty-pants level. 2.     Create a decorative “My 2025 Vision Card.” 3.     Optional: Add a silly resolution- “Stop eating all the snack packets at once.”

   Creative & Fun – A Day in the Life of My Pet (or Dream Pet) If I had my dream pet, it would be a tiny dragon the size of a hamster. His name would be Spark. Every morning, he wakes me up by sneezing out a teeny puff of smoke. He sits on my shoulder during breakfast and steals exactly ONE Cheerio. After school, we play “flame tag,” where he tries to tag me with warm sparks (not hot enough to burn—just toasty). At night, he curls up on my pillow like a warm squishy marshmallow. Best. Pet.
