In summary

A healthy breakfast is not skipping meals, but rather eating healthy throughout the day.

Good dental habits are central 10th – 11th grades because almost all adult teeth are present. Brushing and flossing and a visit to the dentist regularly should be a part of good dental hygiene.

Some children will be learning to drive by the high school years. It’s important to note driving is a privilege. Driving and mobile phone usage, such as - texting while driving - is not a good match! Be safe and keep others safe around you!

Exercise, physical activity is valuable at any age. Encourage children to get involved in walking, cycling, etc., during school or after-school activities.

A healthy lifestyle now could be beneficial in the future years.
