Children’s Eye Health and Safety Awareness Month: With ‘Back-to-School’ time here, it’s super important to make sure your eyes are healthy and safe! Whether you’re reading books, using a computer, or playing outside, your eyes work hard. Wearing sunglasses on sunny days, taking breaks from screens, and getting regular eye check-ups help keep your eyes healthy and strong. Remember, clear vision makes learning easier and more fun and see the board clearly in class! Black Business Month: This is a great time to celebrate and support Black-owned businesses. These businesses are owned by African Americans and contribute a lot to our communities. Whether it’s a neighborhood bakery, a cool clothing store, or a local market, shopping at Black-owned businesses helps everyone grow and succeed.
