Summer is
finally here! That means sunshine, swimming, bike rides, popsicles, family
vacations, and one of the most exciting holidays that officially starts
‘SUMMER’ -the Fourth of July! America's
birthday!
Families and
friends gather to celebrate with backyard barbecues, games, parades, music, and
colorful fireworks. It's a wonderful time to make memories together while having
fun, staying safe throughout the summer, and the history of our country.

Here are a
few ideas to help everyone enjoy the festive day and summer BBQ’s:
Be a Helpful BBQ Buddy
- Set the picnic table.
- Help carry napkins, plates, and
drinks.
- Offer to clean up after everyone
eats.
Stay Cool
- Drink plenty of water.
- Wear sunscreen if you're
outside.
- Take breaks in the shade.
Play Together
No matter
where you live—in a city, town, or the countryside—there are lots of fun ways
to play with family and friends!
