1. Outdoor Activities: Ideas for Games and Activities to Do Outside

A. Scavenger Hunt

  • Create a list of items for kids to find in the backyard or park (e.g., a red leaf, a smooth rock, a feather).
  • Kids can explore and check off items as they find them.



B. Nature Bingo

  • Make bingo cards with different nature items (e.g., bird, flower, butterfly).
  • Kids can mark off items as they see them and try to get a full row.

C. Obstacle Course

  • Set up a simple obstacle course using cones, hula hoops, and ropes.
  • Kids can run, jump, and crawl through the course to build agility and coordination.



D. Water Balloon Toss

  • Fill water balloons and have kids gently toss them to each other.
  • The goal is to see how far apart they can stand without dropping or breaking the balloon.
